TOURNAMENT SCORING and FINAL RESULTS 

8.1. The Tournament Committee shall consist of the Vice-President, one board member, one representative from the Pro Shop and if desired additional club members. The Vice-President shall have charge of all club tournaments. Responsibilities include:

8.1.1. Arbitrating all scoring and rules disputes in conjunction with committee members.
8.1.2. Posting of the distribution of tournament funds prior to noon the day of the tournament.
8.1.3. Confirmation of official results by 8 am the Wednesday following the tournament.
8.1.4.Posting of results to the Pro Shop no later than 12 noon on the Saturday immediately following a tournament.
8.1.5. Determining Finishing Position
8.1.6. Gross / Net Winners
8.1.7. Play-offs

8.2 Card playoffs will only be used for last place in a flight. Procedure shall be best score, net or gross depending upon the category being considered, on the last nine holes. Should this not settle the issue then the procedure shall progress as the best score on the last six holes, followed by last three holes. Should this not settle the issue scores for the last 6 holes, and then the last three holes, on the front nine shall be compared. Should this not settle the issue, hole-by-hole scores beginning at 18 and going backwards will be compared. Should this not produce a clear winner, last place money will be split by those not eliminated by the playoff process.

8.3 The pro shop will offer a skins game for each event.  For net skins, the maximum number of shots that can be used from a member's handicap will be one per hole.

8.4 PRIZES - Winners of tournaments will receive Pro Shop Gift Certificates that are valid for 1 year from the date of issue. The expectation will be that 25% of the field will receive prize money during each event.

8.5 CLOSEST TO PIN PRIZES – Each tournament round will include $25 closest to the pin prizes on each of the five par 3 holes. All Winners  will  receive $25 in Pro Shop gift certificates. Note that the DRGA is responsible for paying for Holes on #4, #7, #14 and #17.  Hole 12 is courtesy of the Pro Shop.  Pro Shop Gift Certificates will be valid for one (1) year from the time of issue.

8.6 HOLE-IN-ONE BONUS – Any member who records a hole-in-one during a DRGA event will receive a $200 payment to the Pro Shop.  Pro Shop Gift Certificates will be valid for one (1) year from the time of issue.

9. The Pro Shop representative responsible for scoring a DRGA tournament will be responsible for the creating and maintaining the scoreboards, scoring the tournament, and ensuring accurate results. Pro Shop representative shall be compensated from the tournament entry fees.

10. The Pro Shop representative responsible for the first tee will be responsible for explaining any format or rules changes, indicating when it is the members turn to begin play, and marking the start time on the players score card. Pro Shop representative shall be compensated from the tournament entry fees.
